Ben Block - CEO
In August 2016, Ben was named CEO of DH Enterprise after a two-year stint on the DH Board. Ben is focused on rapid growth by leveraging technology, exploiting organic channels, and developing strategic partnerships. Prior to joining DH, Ben co-founded Bask Labs, a technology company building data driven solutions for the online food ordering space, later acquired by GrubHub. For the 7 years prior to co-founding Bask, Ben was CTO at W3, Ltd, a London-based Internet company developing brands in the classifieds space. Before joining W3, Ben spent the early part of his career at News Corp, working primarily in the Fox News division, focused on growing their Internet technology capabilities. Ben graduated cum laude from NYU in 1999 with a passion for the Internet and a degree in Economics.
Adam Zerlin - COO
Adam Zerlin is a seasoned technology and operations professional who has spent most of his career working with high-traffic and scalable systems and processes. Adam was most recently CTO at W3, Ltd, a London-based business operating brands in the online classifieds space. At W3 he optimized the Software Development Lifecycle using highly efficient processes, stabilized and improved a legacy infrastructure, and implemented software best practices, improving the efficiency and quality of work the software development team produced. Prior to joining W3, Adam operated a private consulting firm for Internet start-ups, small businesses, corporate media, and the entertainment industry in the New York and Los Angeles areas.
Greg Dejak - SVP Finance & Operations
Greg is Senior Vice President of Operations for DH Enterprise. A DH veteran, his career began in the role of Financial Controller 13 years ago. Greg has managed the Finance, Operations and Product teams of the organization. Greg’s financial background compliments his passion for maximizing performance and customer satisfaction. Greg continues to serve as the primary executive contact to the external audit team and supports in managing all company risk and policies. Prior to joining DH Greg held various roles in public accounting. Greg holds a BA in Accounting from Towson University and CPA accreditation from the New York State.
Brian Accomando - SVP, Head of Product
Brian is Senior Vice President of Product at DH. He is responsible for product strategy, sourcing, loading, and inventory management for all the brands managed by DH. Brian began his career as the Sales Manager for the Sceptre Tours brand. In 2012, Brian helped launch Great Value Vacations, the new direct-to-consumer brand distributing vacations primarily online. At the time of the Great Value Vacations launch, Brian was responsible for all flash marketing which had a budget of $2 million annually. From 2012 to 2015 Brian helped grow the Great Value Vacations business from $0 in revenue in 2011 to $42 million in 2016. In May of 2017, Brian took on his new role of SVP of Product.
Jeff Klainberg - SVP, Head of Marketing
Jeff is a senior marketing and customer experience professional with 20+ years of experience in strategic planning, digital marketing and digital/mobile/social product development. Jeff served as Head of Digital Experience for OppenheimerFunds, where he was responsible for all digital, mobile, social customer experience for Financial Advisors and Individual and Institutional Investors. Jeff was formerly at American Express, where he was Director of Mobile and Digital Strategy for OPEN, the Small Business unit. Jeff launched the innovative and award-winning OPEN Forum website and managed digital experiences that led to 7 consecutive JD Power Best in Class Awards for Customer Satisfaction for American Express. He started his career on the agency side, in advertising and public relations, included extended time at J. Walter Thompson. Jeff has an MBA from Columbia University.
Chris Accomando - VP B to B Relationships
Chris first joined DH in 1997 when it was still known as GCS, working alongside his father Bert, the founder of DH. Starting in the reservation sales department and eventually working in every facet of the business. Chris’s role is currently Vice President of B to B Relationships. He is a 20 year veteran of the travel industry. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management from the New York Institute of Technology. He resides in Long Island, New York, with his wife and 3 children.
Roman Godzich - VP Content & UX
Roman is an internet industry veteran. He began designing ecommerce solutions on the French Minitel system. He has designed search engines, booking processes, affiliate programs and ad networks. Through his career, he has been responsible for over $1billion in online sales. Currently, his responsibilities at DH include content creation and management, user experience and ecommerce optimization. In his spare time he writes fiction and catches fish. He is a 5 time Nanowrimo winner and author of the novel “No Higher Ground”.
Ciaran Barry - VP Partnerships
Ciaran is Vice President of Partnerships at DH and Brand Manager of both the Aer Lingus Vacation Store and Perfect Escapes. Ciaran joined DH in 2001 as an Account Executive. As Brand Manager for Aer Lingus Vacation Store and Perfect Escapes, Ciaran is responsible for direct to consumer sales, product development and marketing initiatives. He is also responsible for the profitability and growth of both brands. A native of Cork, Ireland, Ciaran has lived in the United States for 30 years and currently resides in Long Island, New York with his wife and 3 children.
Mark Accomando - Board Member
Mark is the Board representative of the Accomando Family, majority shareholders of DH. Mark has an academic background in Entrepreneurship and Finance and holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Mark has over a decade of experience working in the travel & hospitality industry and is currently a Principal at GLC Ventures, a B2B technology venture capital firm, based in Palo Alto, California.
Ben Block - Board Member & CEO
Ben has been a DH Board Member since 2014. Originally tasked with advising the executive team on management and technology strategy, Ben now holds the CEO seat on the Board after moving into that role in the second half of 2016. Ben brings a unique skill set and experience to the board having run technology and operations for early and mid-stage Internet businesses that have seen rapid growth and successful exits.
Brian Gordon - Board Member
Brian is a co-founder and managing director of New Food Fund, an investment fund focused on the natural foods industry. He has been a serial entrepreneur and has extensive experience building and scaling companies. Brian was the CEO of Osmio, a pioneer in creating the online food ordering category and web-based corporate expense management solutions, and led the company through its sale to Aramark / Seamless (now Grubhub). He has headed several other companies, including Bask Labs, an innovative technology company building data-driven solutions for the online food ordering space, which was acquired by Grubhub. Brian was a Finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Barbara Pivnicka - Board Member
Barbara Pivnicka serves as President and CEO of the San Francisco Global Trade Council, which promotes international trade opportunities and global alliances. A Silicon Valley resident, she co-founded a technology start-up providing enterprise data harvesting and analytics. Barbara also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Tier Technologies, a publicly traded IT systems integrator, and was a member of its management team. Prior to joining Tier, Barbara was Director of Regional Marketing for Deloitte. In 2001, she was appointed Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic, the first woman in the US to hold the post.
